Our services
Line of Duty Medical provides independent medical opinions (nexus letters), Disability Benefits Questionnaires, record reviews, and related medical-legal documentation to assist with VA disability claims. These are professional medical-legal services, not medical treatment.
No physician–patient relationship
Our record review and opinion work does not establish a physician–patient treatment relationship. We do not provide medical care, prescriptions, or treatment recommendations.
Not legal advice
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or represent claimants before the VA. For legal representation, consult a VA-accredited attorney or representative.
No guarantee of outcome
We do not and cannot guarantee any particular VA decision, rating, or result. Our opinions reflect professional medical judgment based on the records reviewed.
Fees & payment
Our services are self-pay medical-legal services and are not billed to insurance, Medicare, or the VA. A record review fee is charged to assess viability and is non-refundable, including where we determine an opinion cannot be supported. Opinion and questionnaire fees are billed as agreed. Attorneys may be invoiced on Net-30 terms. Veterans may pay by card through our payment provider. Fees are earned for professional time and are payable regardless of the VA claim outcome.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and to confirm that you have the authority to share any records you submit. You will not use our services for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The site, its content, and our document templates are owned by Elevated Health Augusta. The signed opinion prepared for your matter is provided for use in your claim.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site and services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our liability to the fees paid for the services at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
